| Rescue & Rehab Horses Horses in Need
Back in the day, when America was being discovered,
where ever you found a man's footprint, there was a hoofprint beside it. Horses
have been with us since the beginning. Help us save them.
Eli

Eli was saved from the Camelot feed lot during the week of 7/21/10. He is a 7 year old, Paint/Arab cross. He stands about 15.3 hh.
Eli is a beautiful sorrel color with a flaxen mane and tail. His three white socks make him look very flashy. He moves beautifully, has lots of energy, and loves human companionship.
Eli is currently in QT, where he's being loved and spoiled.
Following QT, Eli will be vaccinated and seen by the farrier. He'll be evaluated under saddle....everyone is looking forward to that day!
There are a number of very kind hearted individuals who are responsible for Eli's rescue from the feedlot. We will be forever grateful for your generosity. You have made a difference in the life of an overlooked, needy horse who turned out to be a shining diamond. Perhaps no one would have had the opportunity to discover that, if not for your wonderful gifts.
Thank you: Nancy S., Lori G., Barb J., Rebecca G., Beth B., OHAAT, Debbie D., Evon H., Beth R., Carolyn J., and Sherry M.

Please sponsor Eli for just $15.00 a month!

Roper
 Roper is an
8 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He was formerly a lesson horse. He did not
succeed well at his stable, and suffered an injury which rendered him
"unusable". We had been aware of Roper's situation, and stepped in to prevent
his trip to auction.
Roper's vet determined that his injury was due to a fall or kick, which
resulted in muscle loss at the site.
Sponsor Roper for only $25.00 a month to become a Liberty Patriot!
**UPDATE**
Roper requires trimming and
shoeing every 8 weeks @ the cost of $150.00. Our rescue would be so grateful for a "Liberty Patriot" to help with Roper's farrier costs this month. Please donate
to Roper to help defray farrier costs!
A special thank you to: Fae and Parents, Anne P., and Robbie F. and
Family. Your kind generosity enabled us to obtain this great horse!

Rumba
Rumba is an 8 month old mini colt
that has come into our care. He has had some illness issues and will be
finishing his recovery with us.
Rumba has Equine Papilloma Virus. It is a virus that causes Rumba to have
growths on his lips and chin. The virus will need to run it's course of about 60
days.
We need to have Rumba gelded. As a lot of you know, it is an expensive
procedure.
We need to raise $300. Please donate toward his gelding.

Goldie

Goldie is our newest rescue. She was
turned over to us by a breeder who said she was "just retiring" her. Little did
we know that she had previously foundered. Today, we found out.
Goldie is being tested for cushings disease. Poor girl.
She is an extremely sweet 18 year old mini mare who does nothing but love
you. She came into the rescue with, what we believe to be, little handling, and,
she has been nothing but trusting since.
Please be Goldie's Patriot for only $25 a month!
Thank You, Victoria, Deborah, and Penny, for sponsoring
Goldie!
